GARAGE / ENGINEERED SLABS
All our garage pads have minimum 4-6 inches of properly compacted gravel for a base with a 6″ slab thickening all around the perimeter. Rebar is 10mm bar 24’’ on center with an extra bar in the thickening. Concrete is 4″ thick 32 map duramix with air, sealed properly with a curing compound for maximum strength. The curb is formed and poured monolithic with the slab for strength .. walls are typically 12’’ in the front and 8’’ in the back to account for 4’’ of slope on the floor for drainage.
